Alexander Mackenzie/Nuxalk-Carrier Grease Trail Alexander Mackenzie was the first European explorer to cross the continent of North America north of Mexico. He did so in 1793. Visitors can recreate the last bit of his journey on these trails. A food supply drop half way through the trip is absolutely critical. |
